Dr. Shanteau graduated from Butler University with a BS degree in Zoology. He earned his DDS from Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Shanteau has been practicing dentistry at Dental Plus in Logansport, IN, since January of 1998. He is a founding member of the American Association for Functional Orthodontics. A Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, he is Invisalign certified and has received extensive training on Oral Conscious Sedation and Complex Oral Sedation.
As Chief Clinical Officer of Heartland Dental Care, Dr. Shanteau evaluates new dental materials and techniques, and creates and presents more than 30 seminars a year in all areas of clinical dentistry and business leadership. Many doctors and teams visit his office each year to observe and learn. He also conducts expanded function training for dental assistants.
