DeAnn McClain joined Heartland Dental Care in June of 1996. Involved in all facets of Heartland internal and field operations, Ms. McClain brings nearly 15 years of combined financial and management experience to her role as Vice President of Operations.

Committed to promoting and facilitating the continued growth of Heartland, Ms. McClain currently oversees an external group of Heartland’s Regional Directors of Operations as well as the Client Services division located at the company’s headquarters. This division includes Client Administrators, the Accounts Receivable team and Insurance Coordination team.

Ms. McClain began her career at Heartland in the accounting department, advancing to a Thrive Consultant, Accounts Receivable Manager and Client Administrator Manager. She was then promoted to Director of Client Services which included responsibilities for a field operations group.

She spearheaded Heartland’s transition team, which helps integrate new Heartland affiliates with the company’s operations, field and home office support teams, services, policies and procedures. She also was instrumental in the development and implementation of Heartland’s internal online measurement system.

Ms. McClain holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University. She also is a certified instructor for The Institute at Heartland Dental Care as well as a certified trainer for the Bell Leadership Institute.
